All the hardware was included with the doors. I installed 2 doors myself. First door took me 6 hours from tear out to completion. Second door took me just 4 hours. They come with a new automated winder that you can use a decent drill to operate (no more winding bars). I did have to add some 2x8 to attach the auto winder. It does show this in the instructions and be sure to review the install instructions for the door AND the auto winder. Could not have been any easier! I've read a few other posts with complaints and I have a couple items to note on that. You do not have to take the window out to put in the overlay for the window. The hardware kit comes with a small galvanized lift handle to mount on the bottom center of the door but I decided to use the provided decorative handles instead. For one of my doors I was unable to have an automatic opener so I cut some 1x3 to use as a blocking plate on the back side of the door. I just took out and trimmed the insulation panels to account for the 1x3 and popped it back into place.
